The Korean National Commission for UNESCO (KNCU) with financial support of KIA Motors is organizing a 2016 International Workcamp under the theme of ‘Land of Life, Muan Tidal Flats’.
The workcamp will be held between 18 and 30 July in Muan-gun in the Republic of Korea and it is addressed to young people between 19 and 30 years of age. Cyprus has the right to suggest the participation of one representative.
KNCU’s international workcamp programme was launched in 1966 in order to provide an opportunity for young people to share ideas and knowledge, as well as to work together while acquiring hands-on experience relating to the sustainable development of local communities. It has so far enriched the lives of approximately 5,000 young people from over 90 nations and has strengthened solidarity for peace among youth.
The transportation cost (economy flight ticket), food and accommodation are provided by the organizers.
