Brief description:

The Festival of Apostle Luke has grown over the years around the church of the patron Saint of Aradippou and is known since ancient times both for the number of visitors it attracts and for the traditions with which it is connected to this day. It is an opportunity to preserve customs that are passed down from generation to generation, unchanged in time. The inhabitants experience them with particular religious reverence and devotion, a sign of their great love for the patron Saint of our city. The festival, which over the years has expanded to adjacent streets, remains to this day a great celebration for Aradippou. It is also noted that many visitors from all over Cyprus come to worship and glorify Saint, Apostle and Evangelist Luke, but also to enjoy the great festival.  The festival includes organised cultural groups, popular singers and folk poets, dance groups and also attracts a great number of expatriates who flock to Aradippou every year to enjoy with their families and fellow villagers this great celebration.
